I'm a freshmen in high school going on my first college visit this weekend at Marquette. I've been looking forward to this for the past month and i really would like to know what i can do to make it a good visit. And id like to know what i should wear?

Hmm…the eternal question - “What should I wear?” To make a grand impression, wear your Halloween costume. The admissions officers will admire your audacity.

Just kidding, you don’t need to give too much thought about your outfit. Casual clothing will suffice.

College visits are good opportunities to ask questions. So ask away.

Visits are pretty casual. Wear stuff that’s comfortable to walk around in, you’ll tour the campus and sit around listening to the admissions officer talk about the school.

Really, I wouldn’t start visiting until after the start of your junior year. Your opinion about what you want in a college will change a -lot- over high school.

Also, if you hear that a school looks at demonstrated interest a lot, then make an extra effort to visit that school. Some mind more than others.
