Be sure you aren’t blocking cookies, click Remember Me when you log in, and in the unlikely event that you are using the AOL browser, don’t.
I’ve tried (three times) to post a report on Villanova. It looks like I’m logged on when I write it as I see the “welcome” box up in the right hand corner of my screen. Then, when I preview the post I can tell that my log in is lost (ie. the heading on the post doesn’t include my user name and has a ? in the heading). Sure enough, when I try to post follwing the preview, I get a message that I need to log on. I log on but everything I’ve written appears to be “lost”. I’ve followed the advice above but it is still happening.
Sounds like a cookie issue of some kind. Do you have any problems staying logged in on the forum and posting, or does this just happen on a visit post? Do you ever find yourself logged out of the forums, or do you have to log in whenever you visit?
that happens to me too actually. i log in, write the report, click post. then i get told that i “havn’t enough permissions” and all is lost.
It says “Page Not Found” for any link I click on the page.
^I’m experiencing the same problem: I can’t access any of the links within the “College Visits” section–whenever I try, I just get a blank screen with the “page not found” message.
We are aware of this problem, and a fix is underway. In the meantime, try the “search” feature to access reports. Sorry for the problem.

I’m registered on College Confidential, but any time I go to view college visits, it logs me out, and every time I try to log back in, it automatically logs me back out immediately. When I go back to the discussion home, it’s fine, but when I go to visits, it says I’m logged out again.
Forgot to mention: I’m using Safari, not sure if that affects anything. I set my browser to accept all cookies, but it still didn’t keep me logged in.
I’m having the same problem as steelerfan513. I’m tying to post a college visit report but it keeps saying I’m not logged in, even after I log in again. Help! Fix it quickly before I forget all the nice things I wanted to say about our visit to Oberlin!

I am having the same problem here. Trying to log onto my stats page to update the college admits/rejects but it won’t take my log in and keeps telling me that I haven’t enough permissions.

I keep getting the permissions message too, and to top it all off, “haven’t” is spelled “havn’t” in it.

I posted reports between Feb. and April 2007 (UNC Chapel Hill, BU, Northeastern, Syracuse) that aren’t there anymore. I wonder what happened.
