I clicked on 3 test scores I wanted to send. However, today I saw that the Collegeboard sent /all/ my scores (including past ones I did not want to send). What should I do?
EVERYONE WHO HAD SCORES SENT ON THE 18TH, you might want to check which scores were sent. CB just informed me they had a huge computer glitch, and many score reports were massively screwed up.
This happened to me on the June test scores, and they were awful because that’s the one where the SAT screwed up giving the test and threw out two sections. I got an explanation that the toothpaste was out of the tube - once sent there’s nothing they can do. This was just the lady I had on the phone so maybe there is a fix but she sure didn’t know it. Now I just got an email that my October scores aren’t going to be sent in time for Early Decision app due in 2 days - somehow we have to hold college board accountable for their horrendous product. They can’t do anything right.
@NJFL123 Yeah, the same SAT June scores were sent for me. Why do they even have “score choice” if the system’s just going to glitch up like this .____. …
As mentioned above, there is nothing you can do; you can’t unring that bell.
If this is true, I’m surprised there are not law suits!
Just to follow up…
I contacted CB, and they replied to me around a…month…after. When they did, I politely responded how there wasn’t really anything they could do now. Then, they resend the same email saying the exact same thing. In other words, they sent a generic email twice to me (with the first one taking a month). Sigh :/…
