Colleges disclose rejected application

Hi, I have quick questions would like to ask.
Will colleges disclose information of rejected applicants such as copy of transcripts, SSN and test scores to other colleges if they are asked? Or will colleges put their data on National Student Clearinghouse so that others can see personal information and the fact that they got rejected?
Finally, would admission offices even store rejected application?
I recently tried to transfer and got rejected, so I was wondering if this failure would affect my future application to other colleges.

No, they don’t share.

Thanks for your reply lindyk8.
but would they keep my application record?

Some colleges keep files for a certain amount of time, and can re-open them if/when a student applies for admission again in the future.

Some colleges destroy the files as soon as a given admissions cycle ends.

If it’s a UC and you then apply as a transfer, they will not look at the freshman application. If you apply as a transfer, and then again as a transfer, they will look at it. I don’t know other university policies.
