Hi everyone,
I am looking for more comprehensive education programs at colleges. I am really interested in the policy, the theories, the and history involving education. I am trying to get help finding affordable colleges (by means of merit aid, honors colleges??) based off of this information:
Me:
-1360 SAT score (taking again soon, anticipate it going up at least a little)
-9 AP classes upon graduation
-Definitely in top 10%, probably top 5%
-Extracurriculars include a national choir, 3 honors societies, an intensive Service Project, Model UN president, internship at a nearby university.
-VA Resident
What I’m looking for in colleges:
-Education major (comprehensive, more than just teacher certification)
-Music program where non-music majors can still participate (by participating in their ensembles and by doing a music minor?), so choirs, musical theatre…
-Diversity
-5-10k undergraduates?
-smaller classes
-more liberal in terms of diversity and student body
-city proximity
I know my Virginia options, so it would be helpful to get some OOS perspective. Thank you all for any help:) I really appreciate it.
