What are good schools for IB/Finance majors? Please do not list US News top schools. They are out of my league..Good state or private schools would be appreciated. Thanks.. Oh, Im willing to consider schools all over US but would prefer NYC/surrounding area.

Hi! I see you re-posted. Good cause now you'll get info from those familiar with that field. As a long time NY- I will tell you that Pace was more known for being a business u than liberal arts. So it may be a good school to look at. The Manhattan residence halls are by Wall St--World Trade Center--City Hall--South Street Seaport. I love the area but it is not your typical college campus environment. But what better area can you be in for your interests of IB and Finance. They also have the Westchester campus which probably provides a more typical campus environment. Baruch- which is part of the City Univ system (CUNY) is also a great school for business and is also in mid-town Manhattan. CUNY schools do not normally have dorms, but I know Baruch has gotten a lot of $ lately, so it's possible (but unlikely) they have residence halls. I'm not going to add anything re: other schools like Fordham-St. John's as I'm not familiar with their business programs. Of course there's always NYU but that's a much more selective and expensive school. Good luck.
