walking around the halls of my school lately has been very depressing... because everyone is being rejected. i have not heard of one person being accepted to the college they applied early decision/action to. at least so far all we can attest to is a bunch of rejections from brown, dartmouth, haverford, columbia, uva and others... and these are really smart & qualified kids. i'm actually really shocked.

its rather disheartening. my ap gov class created a "dessert constitution" to declare our policy regarding college acceptances and rejections, where the people who are accepted bake food for the rejected kids and we have a party. we even drafted an actual document and everyone signed, next to a list of all the kids who applied early. while at the time it was funny, now its really sad because unfortunately nobody has been accepted yet.

how are all your schools faring so far in the ed/ea round?

1 reject from columbia, 2 deferred from caltech....uhh 1 accepted to university of edinburgh...donno about the rest. they should be coming in on thurs?

Yea, I've noticed the same thing. At first I thought it may have been my computer, but after a little while I noticed that the lag was only with CC.
