I'm a junior in high school interested in becoming a doctor. I wanted to major in either a humanities subject or neuroscience. My GPA isn't very good, it's a 3.48 as of now (but i have a 3.72 atm so hopefully it will go up). I was wondering if anyone could give me a list of colleges I have a shot at?

My extracurriculars:
Soccer
Tennis
Fall Play
Volunteering
Model UN
Other clubs

This is a really broad question… a few thoughts.

Once you have your PSAT scores (assume you took it this fall), you will have a better idea of what you can expect to score on the SAT when you take it. Assuming you will do that (or ACT) spring of your junior year.

There are 10,000 colleges in the US, and pretty much all of them offer humanities and a lot have neuroscience. You can prep for med school at a huge number of them. So that is not enough to narrow it down.

Along with test scores, useful information would be:
What size college are you interested in?
Do you want a city, or more rural, or don’t care?
What geographic region would you prefer?
What can your family afford? Will you apply for need based aid? Do you need merit aid?
What is your home state?
Are there any other features besides academics that you are interested in (winning sports programs? Greek life? Some extra curricular you want to be sure to continue?)
Do you have any other hook (are you good enough at soccer or tennis to be recruited at any level? Are you an underrepresented minority? Legacy at some college you are interested in?)

If you can provide more info, then you will get better suggestions.

If you want resources to explore on your own, the Fiske Guide to Colleges is a great book to use as a starting point.
