Hey everyone! Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I was wondering if anyone could give me a list of other “hippie” like schools that are active in advocacy and have a strong sense of queer culture like Wes and Pitzer. I’m not 100% sure on what I’d like to major in (I’ve been thinking sociology or biochemistry) so any college would be fine in that regard. Thanks for any help!

Lots of LACs have strong advocacy (if you mean like social justice) contingents and have a decent LGBT community these days. It can be easier to find one that doesn’t than one that does… I guess if you are looking for the “hippie” vibe, then Reed and Evergreen go on the list.
Bard, Hampshire College and Lewis and Clark are good options for social advocacy. Take a look at some of the women’s college threads, there are many that may be appealing to you.
