Colleges Offer Biology Major or Pre-Dental & Music Major(Recording, Producing, Mixing

Hello,
I'm currently a senior in a private Catholic High School with 3.4 GPA. I attend Marian Catholic HS. I am seeking a college that offers either Pre-dental program or biology major, at the same time, I want this college to offer a major in music that allows me to learn how to properly record, mixing, produce, song write.

My goal: i want to pursue a career as a music producer (record, mix, produce, song write), but fear not i'm not naive child that thinks his dreams will easily come true. I want to have a back up plan.

My back up plan: have all the classes required for pre-dental school so i can become a dentist if things don't work out with the music production, i could always just do the music production on the side.

ULTIMATE GOAL: graduate with Bachelors in my desired field of music ( the music bachelor degree that helps me become a music producer ( record, mixing, produce, song writing)) while still having a Biology Major Bachelor degree or pre-dental classes taken ( i'm saying Biology major because i've been told those manditory classes that i need for dental school are in the Biology Major)

Final Question: what college offers the desired majors that i'm looking for ?
what type of music major am i looking for that specifically teaches me that?
are the classes in biology major able to get me into dental school ?

Please answer in detail answering all questions. I hope you guys can help me. God Bless you all and thanks for answering

My advice to you would to work backwards. Research what courses are needed to be eligible for med or dental school. You probably do not have to declare a science major to take this sequence of classes. You may be able to major in music and take a minor in bio (etc.) or even just take the science/ math classes as elective credits. If you declare 2 majors, there is a very high probability that you may not be able to graduate after just 8 semesters. As a science major, you may have to take a bunch of extra classes that are not required by med school–but ARE required for the major. However, without the requirements needed to fulfill a declared minor or major, you may need to take so many elective classes that they may force you to graduate before you have taken the classes you need. This may be a good thing or a bad thing depending on cost and financial aid. So it will have to be carefully researched as you narrow down your colleges.

In general, a music major like the one you describe may be under “music business” or “music composition” majors. Some school have “recorded music” majors, as well. As long as the music programl is in a liberal arts/ university setting or offers the opportunity to take classes at an affiliated college or university, you should be able to combine these 2 interests.

Good luck in your research!
