This is more for my mother's benefit than mine, but I am applying to two schools with January 1st deadlines. The applications are submitted online, of course. My question is, will they receive my applications instantly or is there a processing period I should be awre of? Like if I submit them December 31st (which I won't, but lets pretend) will they still get them in time?</p>
<p>Little secret for you: if you submit on Jan 2 they’ll still accept it.</p>
<p>There’s no instant purge button for apps that come in a bit late. They actually want to read your application and are ecstatic you’re applying.</p>
<p>Everything is electronic and they say January 1st. They will get your applications almost at the same time that you submit them.</p>
