I have my heart set on Vassar for college, but incase I don’t get in, does anyone know of any schools similar to Vassar that are less selective, say 30-50% acceptance range? I mean similar in terms of activism, being a very liberal school, and student body. Thank You!
Skidmore
Trinity?
Franklin & Marshall?
Reed, Oberlin, Grinnell, Connecticut College, Skidmore, Bard, Macalester, Sarah Lawrence
Less selective ultra-liberal schools: Bennington, New School, New College of Florida, Eckerd
Thank You, all of these replies are very helpful
Although the location is a determinant for some, you should also consider St Lawrence University. I know a number of recent and not so recent alums. Without exception, they praise the college and have done very well post graduation.
The upside to the location is that Montreal is only two hours away.
Denison is another school worthy of consideration.
What majors are you considering?
I want to major in either Neuroscience or Psychology with a minor in Fine Arts
