Colleges That Meet Full Need For Transfer Students

Dear CC,

http://www.usnews.com/education/best-colleges/paying-for-college/articles/2016-09-19/colleges-that-claim-to-meet-full-financial-need

https://www.collegeraptor.com/blog/affordable-colleges/these-10-expensive-colleges-have-free-tuition-or-full-ride-scholarships-for-middle-class-families/

The first list consists of 66 colleges that claim to meet full financial need. The second one consists of all the Ivy schools except for UPenn, and then MIT, Stanford, and Duke in addition (a total of 10 schools; also covered on the first list). But UPenn appears on the first list.

I’ve been looking for a list that shows the names of schools that cover full financial need (tuition, room & board, books/supplies, transportation, food, etc.) of eligible transfer students, but I haven’t come across any yet.

On the admissions and/or financial aid FAQ page of some of these schools including Harvard’s and MIT’s, it says explicitly that the schools do, in fact, cover full need of eligible transfer students as well as freshmen’s. But others do not have this information available on their website (unless I’ve missed it). I’ve thought of emailing and calling all the schools directly about this to make my inquiry.

What do you think?

Any input (lists, links, etc.) in regard to this matter would be highly appreciated.

Thank you!

If you are in-need of a large amount of FA, then it is worth you time to call the schools.

Do you have a high GPA? If so, what is it? Some schools intentionally try to attract transfer by offering guaranteed merit aid on top of whatever financial aid they feel you require.

Are you trying to make a list for public information, or for yourself?
