Colleges that put the most emphasis on GPA

<p>What are some top Colleges that put a lot of emphasis on SAT/ACTs, alot more than other colleges and sometimes more than GPA?</p>

<p>And no i am not taking about IVY leage im talking about schools that would let in a 3.4-3.6 student if he/she has a >2100 SAT score</p>

<p>state schools put a lot of emphasis on SAT/ACT scores (50% of their evaluation, GPA is other 50%) while private schools put equal emphasis on Extracurriculars and test scores (25% each, GPA 50%)</p>

<p>well any top state school will. all of the top privates will look at everything equally (aka holistic review) but schools like UC-Berkeley, Michigan, and UNC, they don't have time for EC's and essays</p>
