Colleges that would be good for me?

Well I've been doing research on colleges I could get into with my stats, however a lot of times I'm hearing well over the years they are getting more selective and everything like that. So I can't be completely sure if the colleges I think I could get into I actually would.

I'm going into my senior year, I am a mostly B Students with some A's, and usually 2 C's at the most. I got a 1690 Last time on the SAT's and plan to retake them.

I plan to run Cross country my last year of school, along with having participated in at least 2 after school clubs. Unfortunately my school has next to no sports, clubs, or AP classes (about 80 people in my graduating class) however I do still plan to take at least 2 college courses next year. The classes I got C's in were the more difficult classes I could have taken and wanted to show that I didn't take the easy way out.

I live in the Northeast, in New york, and was hoping not to go too far from their, so anywhere in New York or any of the bordering states would be best.

There is nothing wrong in going to a SUNY school. If you do well, you might then even transfer to a higher ranked school, or do so in graduate school

If you have big money, then some of the private schools might take you, such as a Union College.
