<p>Will a 2250 as a sophomore look better than, say, a 2340 as a junior?</p>

<p>I think that if you score spectacularly (2300+, 35+) as a soph, and mention it somehow in your app, then they will notice.</p>

<p>In my (educated) opinion, a 2250 sophomore is much weaker than a 2340 as a junior. Honestly, I'm not even sure that there is any kind of discrepancy between grade levels. I don't really think date matters at all.</p>
