Upcoming Junior

This is my first post. I just took my final exam as a sophomore today, and received my scores from my first time taking the SAT. 2070 Total: 670 math, 690 critical reading, 710 writing. My favorite college is Bowdoin. I got a 198 on last fall's PSAT. How much did most people's SAT scores go up from soph. year to junior? To be competitive for admission at Bowdoin, how much studying will I need to do to get it where it should be? I know I'm only a sophomore, but I have done more college reading than anyone I know and are pretty knowledgeable about it. I am just not sure what scores to expect next year. Thanks.

Impressive but why did you take the SAT as a Sophmore?
College Board has stats of increases from Sophmore PSAT to Junior PSAT. Also stats from Junior PSAT to Spring SAT.
Go to <a href=“The SAT – SAT Suite | College Board”>http://professionals.collegeboard.com/testing/sat</a>
Click around, you will find it.
There is no magic number of hours to score increase.
Nor is there a magic number of how many practice tests to do to yield a certain score increase.

If you get better at taking the SAT, your scores will go up, if not then they will not
You know everything you need to know for the test by freshman/sophomore year.
The amount your score increases will depend on how much study time you devote towards the SAT.
