Son raved about Glass Nickel Pizza in Madison, served at a UW dept undergrad meeting/seminar. I know he also ordered enough delivered pizza from the dorm food service that it must have been worth it instead of using a private pizza place (or getting a sub from Res Halls- hot or cold). CPK originated in CA, then branched out. We prefer Pizza Hut to the many other local chains in our town since we prefer less cheese- we often get the veggie lovers as carryout. It’s all a matter of individual taste.

Am I the only one who doesn’t get that excited about pizza after all the pizza eating for sports/girl scout/PTA/volunteer events ad nauseam?

We have good pizza here ( fresh local ingredients- really high end meat and cheese etc), but I would rather have a bahn mi( Vietnamese sub) or even just veggies and dip than most pizza.

If I had to pick any big chain pizza though- I would have to go with pizza hut. ( but not pan pizza )

At U Alabama…

0ff campus …the kids love the pizza at The Mellow Mushroom.

on campus…pizza is served at a couple of venues…one is quite good and the rest are ok. In January, a Pizza Hut is opening on campus, so we’ll see how the kids like that…

Now I’ll give you a challenge…best gluten-free pizza near a college (Uno doesn’t count)
