It would seem (and from my own experience) the Ivy and top tier schools have better opportunities in the job market. What other schools/business schools (factors such as state schools with large alumni, good recruiting, business programs) come to mind on the East Coast? Penn State vs. Maryland? What other schools has anyone had experience with positive on campus recruitment?

Northeastern University’s co-op program is very successful in placing students in paid co-ops and grads in jobs.

Babson and Bentley, the top free standing business schools.

This question is meaningless unless you know what kind of job you want placement in. If you want to be a meteorologist, go to Penn State. If you want to be a pharmacist, go to Rutgers. If you want to be an investment banker, go to Harvard.
