<p>Define what you mean by “main part of campus” There really isn’t one</p>
<p>As the above stated, there is no “main part of campus.” It is purposefully decentralized and spread out.</p>
<p>You’ll have to be more specific where you mean. However, in general, the usual statement is you can get anywhere on campus in 20 minutes. But considering foot traffic and crowded buses, this can be easily increased.</p>
<p>I think he means how far it is from classes?</p>
<p>Again, it depends exactly which location is being asked about. Classes are held all over campus even at College 8. All ten colleges have classrooms. Classes can be anywhere on campus (although some are more likely to be in vicinity of their department offices).</p>
<p>There is no location that is “main campus.” There’s just campus. One, big campus. To give an estimated travel time, we need to know what location is being asked about specifically.</p>
<p>Gym/Bookstore area? Good to know that it is a spread out campus though and that everything is not all in one place. I’ll be visiting over the summer at orientation and that should give me a better idea, thanks!</p>
<p>It would probably take you 20-25 min to walk from Stevenson to College Eight if you moved along. In my recollection (30 years ago) waiting for shuttles takes time and of course they stop along the way so it isn’t shorter, just less walking.</p>
