Hey guys, I was just wondering what CI (Colonial Inauguration) is all about
how long is it? what is it? what kinds things go on... all that...

There is a whole CI site but I was wondering what it is really like also. I just registered for the 6/26 CI and my parents are insisting on coming along. I saw that they offered several co-curricular activities, but I didn’t chose any of them - 1. bc I already know Dc pretty well and 2. I didn’t want to commit to service projects in the fall until I saw what my course load would be like. Has any one else signed up for these events? What did you sign up for? Are your parents coming along?

CI is two days of getting to know GW. There are constant activities, presentations, and performances that introduce you to various aspects of GW. you will also have a small group leader that is a current student that will lead discussions and answer any questions that you may have. You won’t be seeing much of your parents if they come along; there are separate activities for them.

And Waves, the programs I think you are talking about (CBC, PE, Explore DC) all involve early-move-in and take place before the start of the semester. They won’t interfere with your classes.
