Color printer available, necessary?

<p>I was wondering what kind of printer I should buy for college, and a few questions came to mind…</p>

<li>Would it be better to use the school’s printers, even with a fee, since replacing cartridges and buying paper and whatnot can be a hassle?</li>
<li>Does anyone know how much it costs to print a page using the school’s equipment? What about for color? </li>
<li>Is a color printer necessary for the humanities-oriented student? In high school I remember writing papers including a picture/graph/chart or two, and I also thought cover pages also looked better in color.</li>

<p>get ur own printer, it's cheaper because it costs 10 cents to print per page at the labs, I started using the school and I just bought my own printer, becasue it reallyw as cheaper</p>

<p>Get a laser printer; it'll be more worthwhile than a color inkjet. You can get a decent HP or Samsung for like $100</p>
