I got a likely from Cornell but tbh I like Columbia much more…

@leobabytiger cornell, duke, and emory all sent out some sort of letter related to diversity in the form of a likely letter to some applicants. I received one from each if you have any other questions please ask

Coming to this thread for a break, since the Vandy one is currently freaking out over whether we all did or did not receive an email…

@IAmGoingToPenn lol why penn over harvard

@Coco345 Different people have different priorities in a school. If I get into Georgetown SFS, I’ll probably go there over the Ivies if the fin aid is there. Just has the perfect program for what I want to do.

Yeah just wanted to hear their opinion lol. So Georgetown is your top choice

Where else did you apply. Sorry I’m new to this thread

@whitespace

I got a likely letter from Cornell University. My top choice is Columbia, I have legacy.

IDK Never said Columbia sent one

I haven’t really ironed out my list in terms of favorites or rankings - and a lot of that will be based on financial aid.

Right now, though, it’s seeming really tough to turn down GU SFS if I get in. It’s just perfect for me, from what I can tell.

My order (very, very tentative) is: Georgetown, Brown, Harvard, Columbia, NEU, Vanderbilt, UVA, Mizzou

@whitespace I’m curious why Brown over Harvard or Columbia?

@thetsaria I just felt like Brown was a better fit for me - the atmosphere, the program, the freedom (as opposed to Columbia’s Core program).

@whitespace Ah, I get you. What about Harvard vs Columbia, if you were admitted to both?

@thetsaria Probably Harvard. But then again, I’m not sure. I’m hoping for a moment of inspiration to strike when I get all of my rejection letters back.

it’ll be such a slap in the face to get 4 rejection letters at once

If you guys did the pre orientation programs, which ones would you do and why?
I would choose the freshman outdoors program since I love nature and hiking/camping

do you think they have finished their decisions?

Oh wait. Sorry guys :frowning: posted on the wrong thread. Meant the last post for all the Harvard applicants. Sorry

They’re probably just finalizing boarder line applicants and making last minute decisions because even if they already made a decision, they have the right to change anything at the last minute because they’re still processing the very last of any documents they have received from applicants. They should be done with decisions a day or 2 b4 they send emails.
