Columbia College or the Fu Foundation Engineering School for International Business?

Which school would better prepare me for a career in international business.

I don't know if Columbia College or the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Sciences would better prepare me. I want to go to law school too.

I know in business you have to have a lot of math so wouldn't the engineering school be best?

What if I majored in financial engineering at the Fu Foundation School? Thats basically business.

Engineering is more math, if anything.

Yeah GoldShadow, so wouldn't engineering be best since it has alot of math?

bump..........

Ah I misunderstood your statement, my bad.

Unfortunately I don't know enough about either program to give you an informed answer.

Wouldn't majoring in math or econ at the college work just as well as going to SEAS?

Wmmk....thats true. So I guess it wouldn't matter if I went to Columbia College or SEAS, right?

Well, SEAS has a higher admission rate. CC has lower average stats. I'm pretty sure SEAS kids can take CC and SEAS classes, but I think CC kids aren't allowed to take SEAS classes.

Have you looked into the 3+2 program? With that, you'd spend 5 years at Columbia and leave with a B.A. and a B.S. You could also do B.A. work for three years at any of the following schools:
Columbia University Office of Undergraduate Admissions - Affiliated Liberal Arts Colleges and Universities

and then go to Columbia SEAS for 2 year and still end up with both degrees.
