Also do you work in admissions because it sure sounds like you know what you’re talking about. Please advise when the next wave of decisions are coming out 
Spoke to a friend who’s kid attended GS as part of the dual Sciences Po Program. These dual kids are all pretty impressive. Seems like the academics are the same. People are a bit older and there are some subgroups like the dual programs( and I think a Med program as well). Also, many in the dual program are taking the core courses. Most students that are older are going to have more focus in any case. Even someone who is 20 is going to be different than someone 18. I don’t think most students care, it’s Columbia, they are in NYC and they are busy with their studies.
