Which school would you pick and why? Location vs. ranking? Any feedback and opinion is greatly appreciated.. thanks!

Both locations are good. Totally depends which school you like more. And which city you like more, Los Angeles or New York, and how far from the center of cities.

how much do you like sitting in traffic under smog-laden skies?

sorry to be off topic, but has ucla sent out all the decisions for ee masters? because i haven't received any news from them..

Hey Stan,

Have you received any news of funding from Columbia EE?

redbullbcfan: I am not sure, but I think most of the people heard back already.
tasteomycheese: no, I only got the acceptance letter.

stankuo802:
thx! I just got it yesterday =)
when is the latest date we need to reply to the offer?
does clicking 'continue' on the "Graduate Admission Checklist" page mean that we accept the offer of admission??

btw, we're on the same boat, except that I applied for mechanical engineering at Columbia. but, i guess i'll go to UCLA even if i got admitted to Columbia because i like the research theme at UCLA better.

Hey Stan,

How do you plan to finance yourself through if no funding is offered? Columbia is pretty expensive.

redbullbcfan: congrats! no, clicking on graduate admission checklist just shows you a list of information and things you should do.
tasteomycheese: i haven't thought about that yet, maybe I will look for other types of financial aids =( but I really want to experience east coast though
