<p>Some one mentioned Stats/comp sci with MBA, starting sal in software development touches $150K. I wonder which particular enclave in US does one find those jobs? Given, many software dev jobs are outsourced to India,China where an Indian PHD in comp sci or math and 15 years experience will work for much much less than $150k, and even so will only work for duration of the project, not permanent hire.</p>

What u need a degree from top 10 US univ in Statistic/Comp. Si with or wihout MBA. If MBA then you don't need MS otherwise need a MS.
The companies are concentrated in NewYork so engineers from India are not allowed unless get a MS?PHD from top 10 US institutes.</p>
