columbia general studies as an international student

HI, i'm international student and i 've already graduated high school in 2012.
Since i have 2 years as gap years and i want to attend in the general studies in columbia university. But i'm not sure what kind of international students (cause i'm a also an international when i apply to columbia gs) can get admissions from columbia gs?
During my gap years, i worked in pharmacuetical company as an assistant and some volunteer work in the doctor's office. Also, i traveled some countries.
Does those things help me to prove my Extracurricular during my gap years?

My high school gpa can't be calculated (system is different) But percentile rank is nearly 10% i guess...
My sat score is 2000 ( october ) but i plan to take other sat in january and i hope i get 2100~2200..
My sat2 score is 800 for both math2c and chemistry.

My extra curricular during my high school
- leader, club etc.. almost 7 ecs
and 12 awards in high school..

Can you tell my chances to columbia?

sincerely, the way you described yourself makes you not fit in the columbia profile. on the essays try to describe some thing you are passionate about, or else they won’t look much at your app. like you there are already lots of other students. don’t talk about your ecs like just numbers, prove you actually enjoy them, that you have learned something with them and that you are trying to give your best in every single activity you are. they prefer quality over quantity
