Hey guys, I am super nervous about AlP Exam.
How should I prepare it?
Any Tips?
Applied and submitted all materials by the end of April. Just heard back this week. Incredibly thankful, and for all those still waiting, hang in there!
Hello everyone, I just wanted to comment on here to get some clarity. My portal hasn’t changed since I’ve submitted everything. I’ve just being gritting it out and trying not to lose it. But I checked yesterday and on my portal at the bottom of the screen the drop down menu has these two as options now. Are these something I’m supposed to do that I wasn’t made aware of or what? Or should I just call the school to ask?
Pre-Health - Autobiography Essay
Pre-Health - Common School Application
@FLVeteran89 I had the same doubt when I first saw those changes in the portal. Have you called them? I am really scared at this point lol
I haven’t yet. I wanted to post here first and see if anyone knows about that first. So I guess I’ll call there on Monday and ask.
@FLVeteran89 i have these on my drop down too. I have no idea what they mean, but as a potential English Major, I doubt “pre-health” or “pre-med” anything is something they will ask of me.
@bobsthename what day out of the week did you hear? I have been wondering if they release decisions any day or just Wednesday.
@mamabear336 yup appears to be a Wednesday
Do i need to apply for financial aid separately?
As of today, after having my application complete for over two months, there is a new red X in my application for “(ACT, SAT, TOEFL, IELTS, DUO, GSNG, SAT R)” even though my test score was already submitted and accepted. It also appears to be language testing even though English is my first language. This happen for anyone else?
No new red x for me!
Does anyone know what this means?
They likely messed up my application somehow
According to the other threads from previous years, having a red x is most likely a good sign
@bluethinker I would normally agree, but this doesn’t really have anything to do with my application and it’s for a language test that I don’t need so I’m only mad that it’s making my application unfinished
Update: It was just a mistake on their end. Application back to undecided yet complete.
It says undecided? Where?
What is the deadline to hear back?
July 20th, but most likely the 15th
Did anyone notice how the “PreMed” options disappeared from the lower section of the portal? Or is it just me?
@bluethinker I noticed. Wonder what that was about. Actually just wondering what the hold up is in general, lol. Why do you say “most likely the 15th”?
@mamabear336 They said so in the online forum they had, I do not know if they meant so for everybody or only those who attended the forum ?
