Daughter just received her housing assigment for Columbia Hall. She has 3 roomates listed with the same room number. Thought all the rooms in Columbia Hall were suite style. Does anyone know if Columbia Hall has quad rooms??
Son got assignment with 2 roommates listed. I called housing today and verified that it is a 3 person room with a bathroom.
Found out it’s a corner room. Two bedrooms with a small common area. Bedroom are about 10 sq feet bigger. Don’t have a floorplan on the website. Now trying to figure out the dimensions of the common area.
Housing told me the 3 person room was just about 100sq ft larger than the floor plan online. He said the three person room was not a corner room. He wouldn’t give me the dimensions but said my son who is on campus this week could come to the housing office and look at the floor plan. I really wish they would put the floorplans online.
Might be similar to son’s Columbia Hall setup last year. That was two separate rooms with area between the rooms, but that common area was for shower/bath. This was at end of hall (so kind of a “corner”), but they probably have different setups too. Good luck!
The girl at housing said the common area was 107 sq feet with the batroom door off of that. Do those dimensions sound like what your son had?
Hard to say, but I’m tending to doubt it’s the same (it seemed more of a passage-way between two rooms, with bath areas off to a side). Hopefully it will just be more room in your case!
