Columbia, ROTC & the Prez Candidates

Columbia Students May Vote on ROTC - September 15, 2008 - The New York Sun

Columbia kiddies boo McCain and cheer Obama for supporting the same thing.

^orite this level of spin is maliciously misleading, it doesn't say "cheer" anywhere in the article, if you keep being biased you'll lose credibility.

I was in the middle of the crowd, here's what actually happened:

when Mccain spoke everyone was sure of his answer so they got revved up to boo, when they asked obama, people were shocked at his response. there was a mix of eery silence and boos. The people cheering (and I can't remember any) would have been the same people who cheered for Mccain's position.

If they had anticipated it they would have booed some more. To be frank I felt ashamed of my school when this took place, it was a clearly biased response, and a reaction driven by who said it rather than what was being said, not too common, and thus very disappointing.

Yeah, I didn't hear anyone "cheering" Obama.
