Hey guyz - i'm preparing to apply at some universities and i wanted to know what Columbia's SAT range was. I know CB or PR have their mid 50's, but i want get some information from students that have been accepted or have enrolled or know someone who will be enrolling...etc

can you help me? it would be much appreciated - thanks

I think Columbia University has the same Ivy League Status as HPY so all area should be above 700s. My brother is currently attending Colubmia and had 800 Math and 800 CR with 760 on Writing SAT II. But in the application process SAT's aren't everything. So maintain a good GPA for this semester, get awards and show the university you are a well rounded student.

PS: even with those stats my brother got deffered at Early and got in regular

I got 740m, 610v, 740w and got accepted into SEAS. There are alot of different things that factor in and a few things (like race and geographic location) which factor into determining whether your SAT score is good or not.

Hey, I didn't find out about Columbia or the other Ivies requiring SAT II's until it was too late. Can I still send in my other information for early application, and then send in SATII's (late) from the October test? Or do I have to send those in with everything else right from the start? Thanks.

if you're applying to colleges, you should know by now that there is no set range of scores you need, and that the scores of accepted students run the whole gamut. aim for the highest score you can possibly get.

if you still feel like judging yourself based on what others get, then look at the various quartile and median scores for accepted students.
