Who are some of the columbia college/SEAS successful entrepreneurs (in IT/TEC preferrably...and NOt from columbia business school graduates...)

I can name quite a number from harvard/stanford/mit, but none comes into my mind who's from columbia.....

Columbia doesn’t have any names as big as Bill Gates or Larry Page. In fact, Stanford and Harvard are the only ones that do. MIT has lots of entrepreneurs, but not many of them are house hold names. Columbia does have some successful rising entrepreneurs and VCs though.

These are just a few off the top of my head. I’ve met Damon in person. Columbia has a growing tech scene and NYC is becoming a hotbed of startups. Honestly, if you’re an aspiring entrepreneur, don’t pass judgement based on alumni, etc. It’s you who matters, not the school. You will get out of the confined CC mindset once in college.
