COLUMBIA UNI VISITING STUDENT. please, ur opinion.

<p>Hey everyone...
I'm from brazil and I'm finishin my second uni year here in brazil... I plan on staying in the same school for graduation but I want to go to Columbia Uni as a visiting student next January for 6 months...
The acceptance rate is 50% and they ask for a GPA of 3....
does a GPA of 3 is the same as 7.5 out of 10? How is that made? My grades are from 0-10, and theres no A levels and stuff...</p>

<p>also, they say work experience is a plus... I work at Societe Generale, a french bank, in the credit risk area...</p>

<p>TOEFL isn't a problem, I have scored 110...</p>

<p>what else should be considered except recomendations and essay?</p>
