Y’all I’m in 3 ivy threads (this one is the chillest) but I’m also in the GWU thread and it is insanity in there. Yesterday, there were kids getting in fights with parents and it’s just wild.

The pent up tension is getting to everyone. I just hope people are nice and not putting down others…not that it is happening here. I think this thread is one of the coolest ones… not so much elsewhere.
I have noticed that just because people have very few posts, others assume that they have less credibility or have no say in the discussion. I have been a passive reader without an account from 2013 till March’17 but immensely valued most of the advice posted here …just didn’t have time to chime in. But now that all applications are over, I decided to create an account and start posting. But oh boy, the on-slew of assumptions made by others or just rude comments (not just to me) have really surprised me. I just want everyone on the forums to be supportive of each other through this phase. And remember, don’t let the school determine your value. YOU ARE AWESOME NO MATTER WHAT - IT IS WHAT YOU DO & NOT WHERE YOU GO!
