has anyone started their application yet? haha my counselor wants me to start right now
it is good but I think you should focus on SAT or ACT and maintain a good GPA standing. Also please enjoy your remain high school years!
I was just admitted to Columbia this year and I’ll be starting in CC at the fall. If you have any questions you can message me…maybe I can help
I second that ^^^. Current senior here, was admitted this year RD and will most likely be attending. I’d be happy to answer any questions about Columbia or the application process in general.
hi guys (: ive been reading the 2020 thread for the last hour LOL
Hi, living in Dubai
Hi, I’m going to apply to Columbia this coming year. When it asks you about the one activity you are most proud of, does it have to be something related to your major/related to the theme of your other extracurriculars or something that you have the most awards in? For example I was thinking about putting down piano even though I don’t play competitively and it’s my only music related EC.
@banana72 Whatever you feel impacts you the most, really. Your essay’s where you can show who you are outside of numbers and awards and such - if you feel like music is the thing that has significantly shaped you, then write about it (preferably in an unique way).
So excited for common app!! Been waiting for this forever
Hey guys! I’m from NC(SSM). I might be applying ED. I’m considering it. This thread might help me decide.
hey guys! can accepted students share their lists? thanks hahaha
i am really into writing and i want to publish a book. however, i want to apply as a computer science major do you think i should include the book publishing into my application since it doesn’t relate to my major?
@mayadaud13 Go for it.
when it says to list favorite books, should I also give a brief explanation of the content/why I enjoyed it? Or should it just be the titles and nothing else…?
