Columbia University General Studies Early Action Transfer Rate?

What is the Early Action Transfer Rate? Should i apply for early action? and when, the fall or spring semester (which ever one is easier)

I’m applying for Spring and applying again in the Fall if I don’t make it. I guess it just depends on whichever is convenient for you. I am applying for ED because Columbia is my number 1 choice and I want to know ASAP if I’ve been accepted or not.

There is no numbers as far as i recalled about early action transfer rate. I would recommend you to apply early action so that you have your acceptance letter in your mailbox much earlier and then you can plan ahead. As for dates, you need to look up on GS site.
I dont think fall or spring semester application makes any difference. The questions you ask are very irrelevant as far as your application goes. Focus on your essay!

Early Action is a bit of a misnomer. It’s basically a hope that they’ll review your file earlier and reply earlier. However they sometimes just roll you into regular admission if they’re worried about current semester grades, unsure, etc. So don’t really think of it as a huge difference. Though for what it’s worth, I always recommend applying earlier so you get your response earlier.
