***COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY R.D. APPLICANTS***

I only saw Home, Documents, and Messages tabs

@nervousfreshie
Where did you see the “packaging?”

@StevenToCollege @@nervousfreshie its in the documents file…if they have received required documents it says packaging, if they are missing docs it says disbursements…thats all…don’t read anything into “packaging”

Can someone give me a link to the financial tracking portal you are all using.

How does Columbia notify you of your admission decision? Also, do you get a notification even if you a rejected?

@Kigzcorp‌ here you go!
https://studentviewer.finaid.columbia.edu/NetPartnerStudent/Logon.aspx?

Columbia will notify by email on the common college admission day the last day or two of March.

@uclabound1‌ Is there any financial information provided now or wouldn’t that come with your decision?

@uclabound1‌ What is your first choice? UChicago or Columbia?

@Maroonsfan‌ LOL, I would absolutely love to attend either school! Both are wonderful but at this point, UChicago seems like the more feasible option. And the financial aid tracking portal is just a checklist; all of the financial information will come either with the decision or sometime in April.

@uclabound1‌ Just curious were you accepted or deferred?

Mine says packaging too, and I haven’t submitted my CSS yet due to financial reasons (I’m going to right now). Is this any sort of sign? :confused: It’s been total silence from them

@kryptonian

Yeah, mine says Required for Packaging as well.
I don’t think that means anything.

Hey does anyone know if you can be denied admission for missing the financial aid deadlines? My daughter just received word that some of the forms need to be resubmitted so now they will be late.

@Maroonsfan I doubt that late fin aid forms will have any affect on your D’s decision.

Got a likely letter today to the College!! :slight_smile:

Got a likely as well to Columbia college !!!

How did the likely letters get delivered? Are you athletes?

Nope I’m an international applicant from Canada. Asian female. @coffeewithmilk‌

Got a likely letter! Sooo surprised and happy haha! Oh, and I’m not an athlete. Intended CS major at the College.

About how many CS majors will Columbia accept per year? I wonder if I have any chance at getting accepted if I wasn’t offered a likely letter despite being female CS appliant.
