ANY PSYCH MAJORS GET LIKELY
I don’t think intended major has any role in choosing likelys. Or does it?
@fairyfantasy Supposedly only a lucky 10% of those accepted get a likely. Not getting one doesn’t mean you’re going to get rejected, or even that you’re not as good as those who got likelies! So, don’t sweat it. A lot of people are posting about their likely letters in Columbia’s board, though, compared to the boards of other Ivies, which is kind of strange…
@luv2sk8 @Tshiknn Hopefully. It seems to me that likely letters are sent to athletes and minority (including female) in engineering, though. And perhaps (but I hope not) 10% of accepted students are minority in engineering?
@fairyfantasy I don’t think minority status would affect whether you got a likely or not. Basically, you should not be worrying about not getting a likely. Whatever happens happens. Breathe and try to distract yourself for the next couple weeks. On Apr 1, you will know - until then, the result really can’t be predicted.
What is a “likely” letter? What does it say exactly? Was it emailed?

I know likely letters are supposedto be rare, but I feel like every other applicant on CC gets a likely
CC applicants are generally better than the average applicant. Also, some of them could be a-word-not-allowed-on-cc-anymore
