The vast majority of accepted applicants will not receive a LL. Congrats to those that did, but read nothing into it if you did not.
I got my physical likely letter in the mail today!! It still feels so surreal.
Wow really??
Till now, I’ve only read about LL being received in email. First time seeing someone telling they got a physical copy.
Did you also get an email or only the physical copy?
I also got my physical likely letter in the mail yesterday! Received the email as well on Friday
Just got my LL by email today! I nearly fell down the stairs when I went to tell my parents.
Testing some new admissions theories - did anyone receive an email from Columbia on February 28th related to financial aid? If so, what was the subject line of the email?
@ImAwfulWithNames haven’t heard a thing from Columbia since January. All of my financial aid paperwork has been in for a while though.
It means nothing. Whatever the letter said, it is not a hint about your admissions decision.
My DD got a likely letter via email today as well! So happy for her as Columbia is her #1–over the moon!!!
I didn’t. I only sent the CSS Profile, but did not send other supporting docs. And Columbia didn’t contact me about this. Ready to take the phat L.
Is anyone else’s documents and messages tab gone from Columbia’s financial aid website? Mine is gone and it’s missing for some other people on reddit too. This is worrying because I haven’t submitted all of the necessary financial aid documents. But now I can’t even see what I’m missing.
@impishdolphin mine’s gone too, but i submitted all my financial aid back in december.
Are there any more LLs that are gonna be sent out?
@impishdolphin I suggest emailing the financial aid office! Around 2 months ago, when it should’ve been at its prime, the financial aid checklist wasn’t working for me, so I emailed the office to ask what If I was missing anything and they were really nice about it and checked my financial aid document status for me!
@imfishdolphin, mine is gone too and all my fa stuff was in.
My daughter was accepted to Columbia last year for the class of 2022. She didn’t receive an interview, no likely letter, no financial aid letter and virtually very little contact except the standard emails. So if you haven’t heard anything doesn’t mean your not on their radar. Keep the faith and good luck. By the way my daughter absolutely loves Columbia and living in NYC.
10 Days out from decisions!!!
All my tabs are still on…
what does it mean?
@wowbears what exactly do you mean by tabs? and are the supposed to be gone?
Don’t know. some earlier posts says “those tabs are gone”
