Workload comparison for history or math.

bump bump bummp

I'm a history major at Cal but I couldn't give an accurate workload comparison as I have never spoken with a Columbia student on the matter. I can give you an example of my workload last semester. I took two Upper Division history courses (Irish History and British History). I read 13 books between both courses. I averaged from between 6-800 pages of reading per week (including research). In the Irish History course, I wrote 10, 12, and 15 page papers and for the British History course I wrote a weekly thesis and opted to write a term paper of 25 pages. For the Irish History course I took one midterm essay exam and one final exam (3 hours on one question - no options). For the British History course I took one midterm exam and my paper replaced a final. Now all we need is for a Columbia student to chime in for a comparison.

Irrelevant question. Your workload is pretty contingent upon the professor and their personal preference and not necessarily the school.

bump bump bump

no reason to bump...

bump bump bump

wow where are the columbian students?

^^^

They are in Colombia, eating coca leaves.

Maybe you should post on the Columbia forum? Common sense, my friend.

Columbia students probably have better things to do with their time. Public school students like me, on the other hand, live for this stuff. lol
