<p>300 millions in Europe? YOu might check your stats before pontificating… That’s the population of the US alright (rounded), but Europe, the geographical area as traditionally defined has well over 700 million. As for the EU, which of course excludes substantial chunks of “Europe”, it has over 500 million. (And this is on average a much better educated population than in Asia, i.e. far more people likely to know/care about university prestige.</p>
<p>I’m a student struggling to decide whether to go to Imperial or Columbia. Which has a better reputation in east asia?</p>
<p>Why not check forums in East Asia!? What do you expect to get by asking kids, like yourself, in high school on this website…</p>
<p>I grew up in Korea in the 70’s and heard my grandparents talk about 3 schools that I should consider attending when I moved to the U.S. Needless to say, there wasn’t the internet back then. For my grandparents to know the names of these schools, they must’ve been mentioned in the newspapers or the TV news programs occasionally. </p>
<p>The names of the 3 schools? Harvard, Columbia and Yale.</p>
