Comic books?

Any readers on CC? If so, which group (DC, Marvel, Dark Horse) and which series (Batman, Superman, Amazing Spider-Man)? Get crap from your friends for your passion, or are they down with it too?

I just jumped on the medium after reading Watchmen/i. Now I've peeled off a bunch of non-canon (not part of comic book unverse continuity) works like Frank Miller *The Dark Knight Returns, as well as continuity specials like Alan Moore's The Killing Joke, Miller's Batman: Year One and other great stuff.

Now I'm stuck on:
Final Crisis
All-Star Superman
The Ultimates
Batman R.I.P.

I read miscelleneous stuff

V:The Last Man
Fables
Lone Wolf and Cub/Samurai Executioner (my library has the whole series)
Blade of the Immortal (it's been stuck on fillers for the last 5 novels though :[ very lovely art after 8th)
Pride of Baghdad (short, but excellent art!!)

I'm a sucker for good graphics. :D (artisty type here)

You mean Y: The Last Man? Yeah, Vertigo publishes that one, they're well known for mature and complex topics. I think a dystopian future when men cease to exist makes enough sense.

Good art, that series had.

Y chromosome, V chromosome... close enough. :P Yeah, I especially liked the first artist they used.

Check out the chapter cover art by James Jean (or something) for Fables when you get the chance. That stuff is absolutely BRILLIANT.

Not a big fan on comic books, exactly. I love comics strips from the newspaper, such as Garfield, FoxTrot, Marvin, Rhymes with Orange...
