Coming Back

How do you go about reapplying to college when you have already graduated with a degree? Is it safe to safe if one was to do this, it wouldn't take four years to graduate because the student would have already have knocked GE from their previous degree at what ever college they went to.

The reason I ask is because I have noticed some grown adults in some of my classes and I recently spoke with one (Who is in his mid 30's)as to why he back to college, he said that his old job in engineering wasn't fun no more and he wanted to get into the bio field and is pursuing a BA in Molecular Bio here at UCLA.

So is it rare to see this, where a college graduate comes back to college in order to get another Bachelors degree to start a new career? Is easy to get readmitted into college?

From the registrar:

"Second Bachelor's Degree

By policy, second bachelor's degrees are not generally granted, except in the School of Nursing."

So eh. It's not usually allowed and therefore definitely not common.

All of the older students in my classes are/have been transfers from CCs.
