Yet another question from all you helpful people. USMMA advertises that a graduate may comission into any of the Services. Do they count CG as one of the Services? And if so do many people take that option? Thank you.-John

yes and yes

in fact, you can be comissioned in the NOAA Corps as well

when they say any of the services, they arent kidding. people go army, navy, air force, marines, coast guard, NOAA, and anything else you can think of im sure someones done it. but since this is a sailing school most kids do something along those lines since it pays quite a bit of money

Is there a web-page or other source where I can read of alumni from the Academy?

In the class of 2006 the break down went like this:
Thirty nine were expected to be commissioned for active duty in the Armed Services: 18 in the U.S. Navy; nine in the Marine Corps; seven in the Coast Guard; three in the Coast Guard; three in the Air Force; and two in the Army.

That's where I got my information. Good Luck.

they actually started a CG and NOAA ops program here......in response to the marine ops program. it seems that NOAA Special Forces are becoming quite popular. whiteboy knows what im talking about

The NOAA sea otters are a pretty elite group Shushu. I think if you stop posting here and play more PS2 you have a good shot of getting selected in a few years.
