I heard that community college classes taken do not appear on your transcript. Then how else will college admission officers know that you took these classes???
Just curious, I’m wondering why you guys are taking them.
<p>It depends. If you take classes at Community college through your h.s. they show up on your H.S.transcript and you get H.S. credit for the class. The grade however is usually not calculated in your H.S. gpa.</p>
<p>If you take classes at community college on your own, you can always get a copy of your transcript from the college.</p>
<p>If you take a Spanish class at a CC, will it count as a year of foreign language for colleges? I need to know since I need one more for the four year mark. Also, if you do take a class to fill the four-year recommendations of some colleges, will it be calculated as a grade in admissions?</p>
