<p>hey guys...i was just wondering, does anyone know anything about the Media Studies major at UVA? im debating between careers in clinical psych or advertising/comm but it looks like UVA doesn't have a major that could accomodate the latter career...thats why it seems like UMich might be a better choice for me ...but i absolutely love UVA and if i can make it work somehow, i want to. or would i be allowed to minor in a different school (like marketing in the business school?) help me out guys, thanks</p>
<p>While you can't do a minor in the McIntire School of Commerce, you can pursue the B.S. in Commerce as well as a minor or second major in the College (psychology or media studies, in your case). Takes a bit of planning, but it's definitely doable.</p>
