Commencement anyone?

Who's going to their ccc's commencement ceremony? Now I know why some would not even consider the idea. I for one was initially not diggin it, but my mom convinced me that it would be sorta cool (another oppotunity to spend time with fam before im out). I mean it's not like a b.a. but, but i've put 2 years of my academic career towards it, so why not?

I would never go to mine.

I am going to mine I am going to where like 5 different special things for graduation.

this is a dumb question: do i have to fill any paperwork out stating that i will not be attending my CC anymore after this semester...i loved highschool when things were announced. lol

no, you just don't register for any classes, after your last day or final there just leave and don't look back

I really butchered my post I meant wear...

I got my first AA (photography) from another school and went to it. My family wanted to go. It was nice because it brought some closure and acknowledgement for my efforts. I didn't initially want to go nor did I enjoy it. I certainly won't go to this next one. It's like getting married twice..what the hell am I doing with another AA...almost shameful.

I would, but I'm not going to simply for the fact that I don't want it to take away from when I graduate from UC.

I see this "graduation" in the same light i saw my 8th grade graduation..didn't even think of going.

Just petitioned for my AA degree today!

I don't think I'll be doing the ceremony... meh. I just want to move on.

"I see this "graduation" in the same light i saw my 8th grade graduation..didn't even think of going."

LoL I remember we weren't allowed to call it graduation in 8th grade it was promotion.LOL

So it a sense this is a promotion.

It's fun when you and all your friends go. Then you go sneak into the teachers party tent. Damn I'm getting a 3rd AA, wth is this

At first I didn't have plans on going to the ceremony. I still have my B.A. graduation and my Law School graduation. This would be just another graduation. However, since I am in honors, I will be receiving special regalia. Just for that I may go.

You just have to look at this as a milestone. You should celebrate at the end of every semester. You have already gone farther than most people. You are one step further in completion of your goal. Celebrate it!
