When should we/our school have received the commendation letter? I thought it was a few weeks after we received the scores. Just wondering if I needed to get the school to look for it yet.
From what I understand, your school is notified sometime in September.

OK, so they wouldn’t have gotten anything from right after he took the PSAT? Thank you, this is my first rodeo. 
So, they should receive something in September then again in February or so? Just to be clear. He took the PSAT last fall as a junior and scored a 221 in TN.
Thanks for help with the dates. Our school is very small, and we are off campus. So, I know I need to “help” as much as I can.
Congratulations on the award! I have one who is a 2015 NMF, and another who just missed and was commended for 2014. You should be proud of this accomplishment, but don’t expect too much for the commended certificate. It’s a pretty small certificate and doesn’t really look like much in my opinion. Still, it is an honor worth celebrating!
I may not be using the correct terminology. I had heard that the school should have received a letter saying that his score should qualify not long after we received the test scores. We had not heard anything like that. Just received the PSAT report in the mail.
Just read your post on UofA on important dates and such. Thank you so much! Alabama is top of his list right now. Your post gave me goosebumps! Super exciting time. So thankful for opportunities and options.
We did not get anything official from our school. The names of the students still in the competition were listed on our school website.
