Oh and I’m Econ/Pre-Haas

Any AP credit?

Regarding math, do you like math, and would you choose the higher math option for economics?

No AP/CC credit unfortunately

I’m okay with maths, what do you mean by the higher math option? :o

For the economics major, you can (eventually) take Economics 100A,100B,140 or 101A,101B,141. The latter sequence is the higher math one that needs Math 53,54 and is recommended for those considering PhD study in economics. The lower math option only requires frosh calculus, either 1A,1B or 16A,16B (16A,16B is the less rigorous option).

Oh I see, thanks for the explanation!
I haven’t really decided yet, but will probably do Math 1A,1B as the prereqs first
